The Mission of the Marriage Ministry shall be to promote, stimulate, and create and blessed relationship between spouses, for the purpose of becoming more equally and spiritually yoked with Christ.

The Children’s Ministry is for boys and girls 18 months - 12 years of age. The Ministry consists of:

• Sunday School
• Children’s Choir which sings at Worship Service each 4th Sunday Morning.
• Girl Scouting
• Vacation Bible School
• Catechism Classes the 1st Sunday of each month.
• Dance Group

The Youth Ministry is for boys and girls ages 13-18 years of age. The Ministry consists of:

• Youth Bible Study twice each month
• Youth Church monthly
• Youth Choir which sings for Worship Service each 3rd Sunday
• Youth Meetings with speakers and other activities twice each month.
• Girl Scouting
• Sunday School
• Vacation Bible School
• Nu-Joi Dance Group

Young Adults Ministry is for men and women ages 19-40 years of age. The Ministry consists of:

• Discipleship Class twice each month
• Missionary Society
• Men’s Fellowship Forum
• Sunday School
• Vacation Bible School
• Sanctuary Choir, Gospel Choir, and Men’s Chorus
• Weekly Bible Study

Senior Adults Ministry is for males and female senior adults. The Ministry consists of:

• Monthly meetings with speakers and other activities
• Trips to plays, fairs, other activities
• Special Holiday Celebrations
• Sunday School

The Prison Ministry of Trinity AME Zion Church was organized on July 17, 1991 under the leadership of Dr. Joseph Johnson (Now Bishop Johnson). Its purpose was to carry the Gospel (Good News) of Jesus Christ to incarcerated men and women in North Carolina. Bennie and Cynthia Rice were named as Chairpersons of this Ministry and through their committed efforts several units within the state are still being visited. Through the years the need for a Praise Team was recognized. In June 1997, the Holy Spirit guided and inspired Doris Dover to form “God’s Own”, A Praise Team. This group’s vision is to continue God’s praises through song.
